PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION - OFFICIAL RULES

Department: Fine Arts

REGISTRATION FEES : ₹50

 1. Original Work Only

• Photos must be shot by the participant only.

• No AI-generated imagery, no composites from stock images.

• No plagiarism; raw files may be requested for verification.

 2. Digital Editing Rules

Allowed:

• Basic color correction

• Exposure adjustments

• White balance

• Cropping

• Noise reduction

• Lens correction

Not Allowed:

• AI retouching / AI backgrounds

• Face replacement

• Sky replacement

• Excessive filters

• Heavy digital manipulation

• Removing/adding objects

• HDR composites, multi-exposure merging

 3. Submission Rules

• Maximum 3 photos per participant.

• All files must follow naming format:

  Name_College_Category_Number.jpg

  Example:

  RiyaSawant_KCCollege_Cultural_01.jpg

• Photos must be uploaded via:

  Google Drive / OneDrive / Link submission.

• EXIF metadata must remain intact:

  (Camera model, date/time, settings)

 4. Content Restrictions

Photos must not include:

• Nudity

• Violence

• Political propaganda

• Disturbing content

• Disrespect to cultural or religious sentiments

• Illegal activity

• Copyrighted art photographed as the subject

 5. Judging Criteria

 DISQUALIFICATION RULES

A participant will be removed if:

• Metadata hidden or deleted

• AI-generated or AI-manipulated images detected

• Photos submitted after deadline

• More than 3 submissions

• Offensive or harmful content

• RAW files not provided when asked

• Images taken from internet or reused from old competitions

 SUBMISSION PACKAGE REQUIREMENTS

Participants must submit:

1. 3 High-resolution JPEGs (max)

   (3000px minimum, good clarity)

2. Category selection for each photo

3. Optional Caption/Story (25–50 words)

4. Proof of originality when requested (RAW/unedited files)
