Event Details

  • First Round: Between 4th January 2026 - 10th January 2026 (at respective colleges)

  • Final Round: 22nd January 2026

  • Categories:

    • Solo: 1 performer

Time Limits

  • Solo: 5–10 minutes

Styles Allowed

  • Classical: Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, etc.

  • Folk: Lavani, Garba, Bhangra, Ghoomar, Koli, etc.

  • Semi-Classical / Fusion

Entry Fee

  • Solo: ₹100

Cultural Requirement

At least 40% of the choreography must include Indian classical or folk elements, OR represent any theme rooted in Indian culture/civilization/heritage.

Rules

  • Participants must bring their own costumes, props, and pen drive.

  • Pre-recorded tracks must be in MP3/WAV only.

  • Props should be non-hazardous (no fire, no water, no sharp objects).

  • Exceeding time = 5 points deduction.

  • Vulgarity, obscenity, political dialogues, or defamation = immediate disqualification.

  • Use of classical mudras, folk steps, or Indian motifs encouraged.

Judging Criteria

  • Choreography – 30%

  • Expression (Abhinaya) – 25%

  • Synchronization (Group) / Stage Presence (Solo) – 20%

  • Cultural Integration – 15%

  • Costume & Overall Impact – 10%
