Participants: UG / PG students
Category: Boys / Girls / Open
Age Limit: 13 – 24 years
Participation Type: Individual (1 athlete)
Entries per College: As per availability
Competition Format
200m sprint on a standard 400m oval track (straight or curve-based as applicable)
Number of heats depends on total participation
Qualification Rule: Top 3 athletes from each heat advance
Fixture and heat details will be announced on the event day
Rules & Regulations (Important)
Athletes must remain in their assigned lanes throughout the race
Zero false-start rule: Any movement after “Set” results in immediate disqualification
Winner is decided by first athlete crossing the finish line
Final positions and timings decided by photo-finish, if required
Lane infringement, obstruction, or impeding another runner will lead to disqualification
Referee and photo-finish judge decisions are final
Equipment Rules
Maximum spike length: 7 mm (pyramid or conical only)
Bib number (front & back): Mandatory
No headphones, mobile phones, or electronic devices allowed

Important Instructions
Report 15–20 minutes before the scheduled heat
Late reporting may result in disqualification
Carry original college ID for verification
No jewellery, watches, or prohibited items allowed during the race
Follow officials’ instructions at all times
Doping or use of banned substances will result in strict disciplinary action
